Deborah Robertson is an experienced graduate teacher who has been working with breastfeeding mothers and babies since 1993.
She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant IBCLC), qualifying in 2001.
Deborah's main professional work concentrates on breastfeeding education of Health Professionals through the provision of her Study Days. Her comprehensive lacataion course has received AARC approval - one of only twenty in the world.
She also has eight years experience of working with local Breastfeeding Peer Supporters for whom she designed and delivered the initial and ongoing training at her local Sure Start.
Deborah has completed the WHO/UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative Breastfeeding Management Course and the Train the Trainer Course.
She has a private lactation consultant practice based in Kent, helping mothers and babies to overcome problems and enjoy the pleasure of breastfeeding.
Deborah volunteers as a La Leche League Leader, offering telephone breastfeeding counselling, running a breastfeeding support group and training new breastfeeding counsellors for LLL.
